But that's just it, isn't it? As long as guests still find it magical, isn't that all that matters? There's nothing to really be done about budget cuts. It's just how this country is right now. It just makes it that much more important for the Cast Members to create extra magic to try to compensate for what budget cuts have taken away. And who knows, maybe once the economy gets better, things will improve.
i think the MAGIC aspect in general regardless of money is being lost in the shuffle because of the need to run numbers thru the park….even where i work, one of our biggest magical moments, which is a free one that costs no money, has been lost in the shuffle because we are too busy rushing in numbers every hour. i agree that as long as the guests still find it magical its ok, but it has the ability to be MORE magical, and its hard to live with “what they dont know cant hurt them” type mentality and how many budget cuts and how much can you take away before its too much? a slow recession of magic might spoil the reputation in the long run, i dont think we are anywhere near that yet….but, usually when companies take things like that away and see they can live without it…it doesnt come back :(
