well that sounds like a price increase not a surcharge. i dont care that the prices went up and i honestly think people need to stop complaining about how expensive disney is. first of all, they just increased the size of the park, there is more to do, why shouldnt the price go up as the park becomes bigger? if the park had 3 rides and it cost $10 to get in and then suddenly they had 80 rides, why would it still cost $10 to get in? prices have to go up. in comparison to the neighboring theme parks, disney is by far the cheapest when compared with things to do/price. Before i was a cast member i always had an annual pass and paid what they charged no problem. you get what you pay for.

no. MAYBE a possibility of putting metal detectors at the bag check area, thats about it
